Master of Business Administration (MBA):
The programme objective is to create management leaders who can navigate the ever-changing business landscape. The curriculum is continuously updated to bring in existing and emerging challenges and opportunities in the business environment. The teaching methods are geared towards experiential learning. It is realised through interactive class room teaching: case analysis, workshop, student projects, industry interactions, etc.
Programme Structure: MBA is two years full-time programme, offered through four semesters. The first year commences in July every year continuing to April in the following year. At the end of first year, in the second week of April, students go for 8 weeks internship. The second year starts from mid-June and continues through till March of the following year. The courses offered in the first year, divided into two semesters, are compulsory for all the students and include foundation courses and functional area courses. In the second year, divided into two semesters, students go through advanced functional area courses, integrative courses and elective courses of different areas of specialization.
Career Opportunity: After completion of the MBA, students have the option of working in Business Enterprises including manufacturing and services (FMCG, FMCD, telecom, retail, infrastructure, financial services, etc.);or pursuing higher education for a career in teaching and research; or starting own business as an entrepreneur.
Eligibility for Admission: +3 Arts/Science/Commerce/Engineering or its equivalent examination conducted by any recognised University/Institution.
