In this globalized world, communication is highly essential for social existence and professional excellence. The Department of English, CUTM offers various courses in Communication such as, English for Communication and Business Communication for the 1st year students of B.Tech with the objectives of building the fundamental concepts of communication skills and language skills.

To cater to the needs of the young budding techies in their professional lives, an innovative course on Communication, named as Corporate Readiness Lab (CRL-I and II), with particular emphasis on projects based communication is specially designed for the 2nd and 3rd year B.Tech. students.

CPM (Communication Perspective of Management), as the name suggests, is a course exclusively and carefully prepared to nurture the essential managerial/ professional communication skills of the students in the MBA programme.

Communicative English–I and II for Integrated M.Sc. students provide a very comprehensive coverage of the four dimensions of communication, such as reading, writing, listening and speaking.

Application software with multimedia facilities, such as, audio/video broadcasting, sound recording and correction of speech, monitoring and tracking students’ performance, online quiz test, etc. in the Language Labs makes the learning of communication complete through consistent practice and activities. GDs, Mock Interviews, Presentations, Role Plays, Simulations, Meetings, Debates, etc. are facilitated by the highly trained faculty members to make the training on communication effective.
