About Me
Dr. Pratap Kumar Chhotaray has completed his PhD. from IIT Madras in 2015. He then moved to The University of Alabama, USA followed by Louisiana State University, USA for two years’ postdoctoral research. Thereafter, he worked as a National Postdoctoral fellow at IIT Delhi for two years. In October 2019, Dr. Chhotaray joined as an Asst. Prof. at Centurion University of Technology and Management and currently working as Assoc. Prof. since March 2023.
Dr. Pratap Chhotaray works on green solvents such as ionic liquids, deep eutectic solvents synthesis, characterizations, thermophysical properties investigations. He used those solvents for various applications such as biomass dissolution, extraction, heavy oil recovery, gas absorption, and so on. He has published more than 24 research articles in various reputed international journals. He is one of the executive members of the Indian Thermodynamic Society.
