About Me
Dr. Suchismita Acharya completed her M.Sc. from Sambalpur University, Jyoti Vihar in 2014. She
went to IIT Madras as a summer intense fellow during the MSc program. Furthermore, she has
completed her Ph.D. from CUTM, BBSR in 2022. Currently, she is working as an Assistant. Prof. at
Centurion University of Technology and Management since 2017. She also serves as the Exam Co-
Ordinator of the Department of Chemistry. Her present research focuses on the synthesis,
characterization, and biomedical applications of different transition metal nanoparticles, the
phytochemical extraction of various parts of plants, and the study of their biological activity. She has
more than 10 publications in international and national journals, and 1 book chapter. She is also a
member of professional bodies. She had guided 12 MSc Students.
