CenOmics, in collaboration with the Department of Botany, School of Applied Sciences, Centurion University of Technology and Management, is pleased to announce a month-long hands-on Summer Internship Program 2025 focused on cutting-edge techniques in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology.

Focus Areas Include:

• Isolation, Purification & Quantification of Genomic DNA/RNA (Plants, Bacteria & Fungi)
• Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR)
• Gene Cloning & Transformation
• Restriction Digestion, Ligation, Colony PCR
• Plant Tissue Culture
• Phytochemical Screening and Antibacterial Activity Testing
• Bioinformatics Analysis (Transcriptomics, Whole Genome Sequencing & Variant Calling)
• Molecular Docking & Simulations
• Plant Propagation and Culture (Orchids, Lotus, Waterlilies, Cacti & Succulents)

What to Expect:

 Hands-on training in a state-of-the-art laboratory environment
 Study materials provided for enhanced learning
