About the Programme
Bachelor Of Science in Medical Radiation Technology Is a Three-Year Graduate Program. In This Course the Health Professionals are Concerned with Direct Administration of Radiation, Primarily X-Rays, in Disease Diagnosis and Injury Assessment. Medical Imaging Studies Have Been a Cornerstone in Medical Diagnosis for Decades; However, Technological Advances and The Addition of New Imaging Modalities, Now Place Medical Imaging Among the Most Dynamic, Expanding and High Demand Fields in Clinical Medicine.
Medical Imaging Clinical Practice Includes: General Radiography such as Orthopedics, Pediatrics and Mammography, Vascular Imaging, Cardiac Catheterization studies, Computerized Tomography, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Medical Imaging Professionals are Employed in Medical Centers, Community and Private Hospitals, Clinics, and Physicians’ offices.
Duration
Three years (Six semesters) full-time program with 6 months internship in the last semester.

With experience and advanced training, BRIT graduates can specialize in specific areas of medical imaging, such as interventional radiology, CT scan, MRI or mammography. They may also pursue advanced degrees, such as a Master’s or Doctorate, to further their careers and expertise.

Pass in +2 Science from a recognized board of the country, with individually pass in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and/or Mathematics and have secured minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry Biology or Mathematics taken together (40% for SC/ST and 45% for Physically Challenged candidates)
