About the Programme

The School of Veterinary and Animal Sciences is offering five and half years Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) degree course as per the guidelines of Veterinary Council of India (VCI). SOVAS is recognised by VCI and got included in the first schedule of VCI Act 1984 as under sub-heading DEGREES as serial number 96. SOVAS has all modern facility dedicated to teaching, research, and extension education in the field of  veterinary sciences. It houses advanced independent departments, research labs, and office spaces as per VCI norms. The college also boasts with seven spacious air conditioned smart lecture halls with audio-visual aids. The departments are headed by  highly qualified Professors of national renown. The courses and well  equipped laboratories are handled by well qualified Assistant/Associate professors.

Duration 

5 years and 6 months (Four Professional Years [ First (one year) Second (one year) Third (one year) Fourth (one and a half year)] & one year internship of twelve calendar months)
