About the Programme
The Diploma in Medical Radiation Technology (DMRT) course prepares students to become proficient in the use of various radiologic imaging equipment and techniques. Students will learn how to capture high-quality diagnostic images that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. The program emphasizes safety, patient care, and technical skills necessary for working in diagnostic imaging and radiation therapy.
As a Medical Radiation Technologist, students will be trained to operate imaging equipment such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and other diagnostic devices, ensuring images are clear and accurate for medical professionals to analyze. With the rapid advancements in medical technology, the demand for skilled professionals in this field has significantly increased.
At SoPAHS, the course is designed with state-of-the-art facilities, including fully equipped radiology labs and simulation tools, where students will practice procedures on mannequins and gain hands-on experience.
It is a certification program, and the minimum educational qualification required is 10th pass or higher qualifications.
