About the Programme
Overview:
The Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biotechnology is a post-graduate program designed to provide advanced knowledge and skills in the application of biological and technological principles to address complex challenges in healthcare, agriculture, environmental sustainability, and industrial processes. Typically spanning 2 years, the program offers a rigorous curriculum that includes advanced coursework in molecular biology, genetic engineering, bioprocessing, bioinformatics, and biotechnology ethics, along with extensive laboratory training and independent research projects. Students develop expertise in cutting-edge biotechnological techniques and gain critical problem-solving, analytical, and research skills, preparing them for leadership roles in research and development, academia, industry, and regulatory affairs, or for pursuing doctoral studies in specialized areas of biotechnology.

- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Biotechnology, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, or a related discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in their undergraduate degree. A 5% relaxation for reserved category.
- Centurion University Entrance Exam (CUEE) Score.
After the completion of the Master’s program, the students can pursue careers in various fields:
