Dr. Ajay Kumar Nayak is the Pro Vice Chancellor of Centurion University of Technology and Management, Odisha. With a distinguished career spanning over three decades , he has held pivotal roles in public administration, academia, and policy development. Dr. Nayak served as an Odisha Administrative Service officer from 1989 to 2024, contributing to higher education and skill development through key government positions, including joint secretary for Higher Education and Technical Education Departments.
An academic with a Ph.D. in Personnel Management and industrial relations, he has extensive experience in policy formulation, university governance, and research, notably on the impact of industrialization on tribal women. A passionate advocate for Odishi culture, Dr. Nayak leads heritage preservation initiatives and writes on cultural and social issues. His leadership reflects a commitment to education, rural development and cultural heritage.
