Prof. Sunil Kumar Jha is working as the founder Dean of the School of Paramedics and Allied Health Sciences at Centurion University of Technology and Management since 2016. He joined as the Dean of the School in the year 2016 & later promoted as the Director of the School in the year 2023. At present he is working as the Director of School of Paramedics and Allied Health Sciences at all the campuses of Centurion University. Simultaneously he is working as the Director of School of Nursing for all the campuses of the University. He has also taken the responsibility of Director of Community Diagnostic Centre & as the Member Secretary of CUTM Ethics Committee. His Vision for the School is to provide quality & cost effective health care service up to the door step of the community. He is also working on Skill gap analysis between the health industries & academia for upgradation in the health care educational system. For his outstanding performance in the Allied Health Industry recently he has been awarded with the SIX-SIGMA EXCELLENCE AWARD – 2024.
His major areas of expertise are medical diagnostics, clinical pathology, diagnostic bacteriology, histopathology and health care management. He has completed MBA-HMGT, MLT, DAF, MHD and some of the courses in Alternative Medicine.
He has a working knowledge of more than 25 years in various Universities and Hospitals in multiple capacities such as, visiting faculty at Sikkim Manipal University, Kalinga University, Raipur and IASE Deemed University, Principal of Bhava Institute of Medical Science, Managing Director in SAI RAM General Hospital (Bhubaneswar), as Advisor in Nilanchal Institute of Medical Science, Upasana Educational Trust & Director of College of Medical Technology, Bhubaneswar. Previously he has worked with NSDC, Health Sector Skill Council, Life Science Sector Skill Council as a Master Trainer.
