Centurion University and Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited Join Forces to Enhance Employee Capacity

On February 1st, 2024, a significant partnership was forged between Centurion University and Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited (RBBL), Nepal, as they inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enriching the skill sets of RBBL employees. The signing ceremony, hosted at Centurion University’s Paralakekhmundi campus, symbolized the commencement of a strategic alliance geared towards fostering capacity building within the banking sector.

Centurion University, esteemed for its dedication to excellence in education and skill development, has long been committed to empowering individuals with relevant knowledge and expertise. With its widespread campuses catering to diverse educational needs, Centurion University stands as a beacon of transformative education in various regions. On the other hand, Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited (RBBL) holds a prominent position in Nepal’s financial landscape, championing financial inclusion and driving economic growth across the nation through its legacy of service and innovation.

The primary objective of the MoU is to provide comprehensive capacity-building training to RBBL employees, with an ambitious annual target of 500 individuals. Through this collaborative endeavor, Centurion University aims to equip RBBL staff with the essential skills and knowledge required to effectively navigate the dynamic challenges prevalent in the financial sector.

The signing ceremony witnessed the active participation of distinguished representatives from Rastriya Banijya Bank Ltd. and Centurion University. Notable personalities from RBBL included Mr. Debesh Prasad Lohani, Deputy Executive Officer; Mrs. Durga Kumari Kandel, Deputy Executive Officer; Mr. Binod Nyoupane, Manager; Mr. Bhim Prasad Ghimire, Chief Manager; and Mrs. Padma Laxmi G.C, Chief Manager. Additionally, Dr. Binod Atreya from the Banking, Finance, and Insurance Institute of Nepal (BFIN) graced the occasion with his presence.
