The university encourages its students to participate in the WorldSkills Competition, while many students have won gold and silver medals at the national level. The Centurion curriculum is aligned with the National Occupational Standards (NOS) as per the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF). It is the only university accredited by the Government of India to contribute to the development of NSQF by creating new job roles and Qualification Packs (QP).
The School of Pharmacy and Life Sciences is committed to Sustainable Development Goals focusing on Good Health and Well Being, Quality Education, and Partnership for Goals. As more than 2 billion people in the world still do not have access to essential medicines, according to a report by the UN Secretary General, the School of Pharmacy and Life Sciences is dedicated to touch human lives in healthcare and happiness to ensure holistic societal development through skill based education, research, drug development and community welfare services. The School is committed to undertake the task of meeting professional and social needs like identification, cure, mitigation of disease and innovative drug design. The research also extends to phytopharmaceuticals expanding on the benefits of Nutraceuticals and Ayurvedic science. The students work at the Community Diagnostics Center of the University which caters to the need of primary medical care, in order to gain practical hands on experience. Recently the University has established a Jan Aushadhi Kendra for generic medicine to ensure accessibility and affordability for various excluded communities and ensure future sustainability. The school also conducts regular awareness programs to prevent the misuse of antibiotics, which if not adhered to causes antibiotic resistance.
