Centurion University is duly recognized as a pioneer in ‘Skill Integrated Higher Education”. Its unique model specifically emphasizes creating sustainable livelihoods nationally in challenging geographies through education that results in employability and sparks entrepreneurship. The university has five campuses and a number of social entrepreneurial outreach entities that, along with collaborating institutions and networks, form its ecosystem. The campuses are located at Paralakhemundi, Bhubaneswar, Rayagada, Bolangir and Balasore. Its courses are delivered through 16 schools. Centurion University of Technology and Management strives for excellence in all domains. The university has 110 Skill Courses and 43 domains, each with an industry partner. The list keeps growing based on the interests of the students.
School of Engineering and Technology:–
Centurion University’s School of Engineering and Technology (SoET) offers a dynamic learning environment connecting academics to real-world applications, preparing students for the global workforce. With an industry-focused curriculum supported by over 60 industry-sponsored labs, SoET aligns with Sustainable Development Goals such as Quality Education, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, Clean Water and Sanitation, and Affordable and Clean Energy. Its curriculum promotes specialization in transformative domains, while the “Skills for Success” program allows students to pursue skill courses across disciplines, enhancing career readiness.

School of Fisheries:-
Through skill-based learning, the school supports students in developing their competency in Water Quality Management, Fish Health Management, Feed Management, Aquatic Environmental Management, and Fish Processing Technology. It has dedicated units such as 21 fishponds, fish feed mill, Biofloc unit, an ornamental unit, an aquaponic unit, Chinese circular hatcheries, fish processing unit, RAS system, and dedicated laboratories. The School of Fisheries contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals of Life Below Water, No Poverty, No Hunger, Sustainable Cities and Communities, Responsible Consumption and Production, Climate Action, and Partnerships to achieve the Goal. The School of Fisheries organizes several training programs for fish farmers wherein scientific knowledge related to fish farming, new and advanced technologies in fish culture, post-harvest technologies, and value-added fish products is imparted. Further, community outreach programs for safe and sustainable fisheries are promoted through ‘Kisan Mela’s’ (Farmers Fairs).

School of Media and Communication:-
The school of Media and Communications at Centurion University is being launched as a complete media school that will offer both bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees, Doctoral Degree programs, and short-term skill programs. The school will deliver UNESCO’s “Model Curriculum for Developing Countries and Emerging Democracies.” The School of Media and Communication is committed to the SDG on No Poverty, Good Health and Well-being, Quality Education, Gender Equality, Clean Water and Sanitation, Reduced Inequalities, Climate Action, Life on Land and Partnership for Goals. The School is focused on Development Communication and has identified areas of tribal identity and culture, rural development, gender, agriculture, and local environmental issues.

Centurion University has launched 4 four-year Bachelor Programs (UG), aligned to the New Education Policy 2020. This Programme allows students to choose a single discipline or a combination of disciplines/ streams as an academic career path. The Programme envisages a competency-based, multi-disciplinary, holistic academic program with a creative combination of disciplines/ skills/ Domain/ Research of study with multiple entry and exit options.

S. Swaminathan School of Agriculture:-
Agriculture and allied programs at Centurion University focus on smart agricultural processes and Industry 4.0, enabling students to gain comprehensive “Farm to Fork” skills. The university emphasizes UAV-based soil and crop health management, image processing, hydroponics, aeroponics, vertical farming, and genome sequencing. Key areas include plant tissue culture, organic farming, and IoT-based poly house flower growing. M S Swaminathan School of Agriculture is committed to Sustainable Development Goals focusing on No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Good Health and well-being, Quality Education, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, Reduced Inequalities, Sustainable Cities and Communities, Responsible Consumption and Production, Climate Action, Life on Land and Partnership for Goals. The School provides training and conducts research in food production and technological advances leading to progress in agriculture. To this end, the school commercially produces low glycemic index rice and hybrid maize seeds. Agriculture is the mainstay of rural populations and doubling farmers’ incomes through diversification and application of advanced technologies for the same is its motto.

School of Management (SoM) focuses on experiential, applied, and action learning through projects, practice, and production to foster a thriving start-up culture. It has consistently reinvented management education, intending to create management leaders who can navigate the ever-changing business landscape. The curriculum is constantly updated to meet the dynamic needs of industry, academia, and entrepreneurship. The School of Management is committed to Sustainable Development Goals focusing on No Poverty, Quality Education, Gender Equality, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, Reduced Inequalities, Sustainable Cities and Communities, Climate Action, and Partnership for Goals. It has done this by assigning students to adopted villages near the campus and striving for their holistic development. It further collaborates with civil society organizations to deliver practice-based teaching and learning and conduct field-based internships. SoM has, with the support of the National Skill Development Corporation, trained over 70,000 farmers in various skills to double their incomes.

School of Vocational Education and Training :-
The skill-integrated framework has enabled the University to offer such a model of education, which is also approved by the Directorate General of Training, Govt of India. The school is recognized as a centre of excellence in the skilling ecosystem by the Ministry of Skill Development, the government of India. Partnering with NSDC, all its curriculum is aligned with the National Skill Qualification Framework (job roles and National Occupational Standards). Aligning with these NOS enables the students to attain additional National Council for Vocational Training certification. 50+ action learning centers on campus make the students learn through hands-on, experience-based and practice-oriented pedagogy and carry out live projects, which is the very ethos of the University.

The School tries to ensure the biodiversity of the campuses and surrounding communities through regular flora and fauna surveys. Further, establishing and nurturing a ‘Bee, Butterfly, and Cactus’ garden enhances biodiversity and natural pollination. The School supports the production of food by ensuring arable soil (using organic and biofertilizers produced in-house), disease-free plants and introduction of more recent technologies such as smart and precision agriculture, hydroponics, and aeroponics, but also allows for the minimal use of insecticides and pesticides.

Centurion University’s School of Pharmacy and Life Sciences (SoPLS) is a premier institution established in 2016 dedicated to touching human lives in healthcare and happiness to ensure holistic societal development through skill-based education, research, development, and community welfare services. The SoPLS has 4 different campuses located in Bhubaneswar, Balasore, Balangir, and Rayagada. The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi, approved the school, with accreditation of NAAC A+ grade. SoPLS is committed to meeting social needs like identification, cure, and mitigation of disease with innovative drug design programmes. It focuses on fulfilling student’s career ambitions in pharmaceutical sectors such as industries, hospitals, administrations, and entrepreneurship. The students are usually involved in dissertations and small-tenured projects in Pharmacy.

India’s animal husbandry and dairying sector is increasingly significant for farmers and livestock-based industries, driven by rising demand for products like milk, meat, and eggs and non-food items like wool and leather. This growth has attracted new entrepreneurs seeking profitable livelihoods. Employment opportunities are abundant across various sectors, including government animal husbandry departments, dairy cooperatives, private dairies, poultry, meat, veterinary pharmaceuticals, animal shelters, and NGOs. To address the need for qualified veterinarians, Centurion University established the School of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, preparing professionals for roles in both government and private sectors.

School of Agricultural and Bio-Engineering:
The School of Agricultural and Bio-engineering is committed to Sustainable Development Goals focusing on No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Quality Education, Climate Action, Responsible consumption and production, Life on Land, and Partnership for Goals. Recognizing that we urgently need to reduce our ecological footprint by changing the way we produce and consume goods, the School is not only involved in a number of initiatives such as smart farm machinery, soil and water conservation, vertical cultivation of vegetables in a controlled environment, soilless culture of various produce, mulching and protected cultivation of flowers and vegetables, food processing, plant tissue culture within the campus but also taking these initiatives to farmers. The school focuses on the Efficient management of resources, including re-engineering of appropriate technology for small farmers, application of sensors and actuators in farm machinery, and the use of drones in agriculture.

School of Paramedics and Allied Health Sciences
SoPAHS is committed to Sustainable Development Goals focusing on No Poverty, Good Health and well-being, Quality Education, Reduced Inequality, and Partnership for Goals. Community Diagnostics Center (CDC) is established and operated by faculty and students of SoPAHS as an action learning laboratory catering to the community’s health needs. SoPAHS, taking cognizance of the dismal doctor/ paramedic to student ratio in India, particularly rural Odisha, offers a Diploma in Community Health Practice in collaboration with NGO Swasthya Swaraj. The program graduates extend basic health services to remote geographies. Importantly, SoPAHS being located in a rural area makes a difference in reaching out to the community through various outreach programs and health camps. In partnership with Essilor, the optical store offers free optometric services and corrective devices at a subsidized price.
