Mr. Devi Prasad Panda serving as an Assistant Professor (Fish Processing Technology) at the Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM), Odisha. has completed a Master of Fisheries Science (M.F.Sc.) in Fish Processing Technology from ICAR–Central Institute of Fisheries Education (CIFE), Mumbai (Batch 2022–2024), securing the prestigious Dr. Hiralal Choudhury Gold Medal for academic excellence. His M.F.Sc. research focused on the culture and isolation of halophilic archaea and the extraction of bioactive compounds from these extremophiles. He has also completed a certificate course on “Advanced Techniques in Sample Preparation and Residue Analysis of Seafoods” conducted by ICT-FSAN (FSSAI). Their interests include seafood safety, advanced analytical methods, and exploration of bioactive compounds from unconventional microbial sources.
