Ms. Hauzoukim specializes in value-added fish products, their quality and biochemical assessment, and the utilization of fish waste for diverse applications. She completed her M.F.Sc. in Post-Harvest Technology from ICAR–Central Institute of Fisheries Education (CIFE), Mumbai, and her B.F.Sc. from the College of Fisheries, Central Agricultural University, Tripura. She has also qualified ASRB-NET (2015).
She has published research papers and book chapters in reputed national and international journals. At the School of Fisheries, Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM), she has contributed to the development of the domain course Fish Processing Technology and the qualification pack Fisheries Post-Harvest Supervisor. She also serves as Supervisor for FELP (Fish Processing Technology) students, Career Coordinator for the School of Fisheries, and Mentor to the B.F.Sc. (2023–2027) batch.
Beyond academics, Ms. Hauzoukim has served as Hostel Superintendent and as a member of the Women’s Cell at Paralakhemundi campus. She was commissioned as a Lieutenant by the Director General of NCC and served as an Associate NCC Officer for the Senior Wing at Centurion University, Paralakhemundi.
