Collaborations with Health Institutions

Collaborations with Health Institutions

Centurion University collaborates with several local, national, and global health institutions in the private and government sectors. Owing to these collaborations, students from Allied Health, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Forensic Sciences benefit through real-world training experiences, that help prepare them for practical challenges.

Medical Research and Education Collaborations

The University has also integrated academic knowledge with healthcare institutions such as Apollo Hospitals, Ashwini Hospital, SUM Hospital, Carcinoid Cancer Hospital, ASG Eye Hospital, Ruby Eye Hospital, Prolife Diagnostics, Spandan Diagnostic Cantre Pvt. Ltd., and many more. Through this collaboration, the University facilitates clinical exposure and hands-on training for its students at these institutions. These trainings in the hospitals help the students get real-world practical experience, and a holistic understanding of patient needs that helps them develop professional competency. This training also fosters compassionate, skilled healthcare professionals who are better equipped to serve diverse populations and address complex health challenges in the community.

Collaborative research is another cornerstone of these collaborations. The University partners with health institutions such as Utkal Hospital, SUM Hospital, and Heredity Biosciences to conduct pioneering research that addresses pressing health issues. These collaborations advance medical knowledge and provide students and faculty members with opportunities to engage in groundbreaking work that directly impacts community health.

Community Health Initiatives and Youth Engagement at the University

The University has organised several health camps to facilitate free doctor consultations, physiotherapy consultations, free health check-ups, and free prescription drugs to the underprivileged sections in and around Odisha. These camps have been organised in collaboration with several local and national healthcare institutions such as Kalinga Hospital, AMRI Hospitals, Hi-Tech Hospital and Medical College, Mahanadi Netra Chikitsalaya, Medicover Hospitals and several others that are practically enriching and facilitating communities with healthcare service. Youth engagement is at the core of the University’s mission. It cultivates a sense of responsibility and passion for community service by actively involving young students in various health programs. These students participate in organising health camps, awareness drives, and preventive health workshops, gaining hands-on experience while making a tangible difference in society.
