Vocational Diploma  and Degree Programs

Centurion University has developed a structured, modular, credit-based Qualification Framework that is aligned to the embedded degree guidelines issued by its regulator, UGC for awarding Diplomas and Degrees. The purpose is to institutionalize a model for competency development linked with certifications and qualifications that can be delivered in a flexible dual model while the candidates are working in the industry,The objective is to ensure that the workforce is kept engaged, productive and up to date with changing technology through work integrated programs leading up to University Diploma & Degree qualifications.

• Centurion University is a UGC Approved, NAAC A+ Grade accredited State University; Notified as a “Skills University” by the State Government on 30-Aug-17; Notified by NSDA as an Awarding Body for skill-based certifications for both trainees and trainers as per notification; Notified by MSDE as Center of Excellence, the first such recognition in the country

• GTET is one of India’s leading skill development company operating 30+ centers across Odisha, Assam, UP, Punjab, AP which runs residential skill based courses in brick and mortar mode
• Lernern is an EdTech platform which enables the Work integrated skill training & apprenticeship (WISTA) blended learning program for upskilling and further education of blue collar workers especially in industrial hubs of Tirupur, Coimbatore, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, NCR-Neemrana, Baddi etc.

COLLABORATION WITH SWASTHYA SWARAJ

The program offers educational opportunities to tribal girls, promoting gender equality and empowering women to become healthcare professionals.

Centurion University, in collaboration with Swasthya Swaraj, proudly launches the Diploma in Community Health Practice (DHCP). This innovative program trains tribal girls as Community Health Practitioners, providing essential healthcare services in remote areas. Centurion University continues to empower communities, improve health and drive sustainable development.

Executive Education Programmes and Collaborations

University also engages in specialized training programs, such as OFS (Odisha Finance Service) Training, OPTCL (Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited) Training, and NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) initiatives, national and international collaborations, including visits from organizations like TMREIS, Hyderabad and six first nation students from the Wadeye community in Victoria, Australia.

Centurion University, Odisha and Banking Finance and Insurance Institute of Nepal Limited (BFIN) are in long-term partnership for conducting and coordinating in the areas of training, education, research and consultancy Services, Information Technology and other allied services offered by both Institutions. The MoU outlines the following collaborative initiatives:

Management Development Programs: Centurion University and BFIN co-organize specialized management development programs to upgrade the professional skills of banking and finance sector employees.

Exposure Visits and Training Programs:

Agri Entrepreneurship and SME Financing: These training sessions focused on strategies for financing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and fostering agricultural entrepreneurship.

HR as a Business Partner: Training programs dedicated to understanding the role of human resources in driving business success, fostering strategic partnerships within organizations.

Housing Microfinance and Digitization of Microfinance Operations in India: A joint initiative focused on exposing Nepalese professionals to housing microfinance models and the digitization of microfinance operations in India to modernize the sector.

This collaboration aims to foster innovation and capacity building in the banking sector in both countries, promoting knowledge exchange and skill development.

Customer Leadership Program for OFS Probationaries

The training program on Customer Leadership for OFS probationers was held on 29th March 2023 in the Seminar Hall, 2nd floor of the Aryabhatta building. The program was conducted through offline sessions and aimed to make officers aware of the significance of teamwork within an organization. Participants gained practical insights to improve their leadership skills, communication and teamwork capabilities

WADEYE Training

The WADEYE Training Project” is a six-month training project organized by Centurion University (Odisha, India) to impart the technical skills required in Automobile, Electric Vehicle and Fabrications among others for the participants, who are First Nation members of the WADEYE Community in Australia. This skill training program is designed to give the participants the required technical knowledge and skills for which they are able to assemble Electric Vehicle Components, test and Calibrate Electric Vehicle Systems, Diagnose and Troubleshoot EV Issues, Provide Electric Vehicle Maintenance, Demonstrate Real-world Applications. Along with economic empowerment, this program is expected to also influence the trainee’s thinking and behaviour, improving self-esteem and making them proud of their ability to be productive citizens. Besides the skills and abilities acquired, they would also learn and understand about Indian culture and lifestyle.
