- Centurion University Celebrates 25 Blood Donation Drives: A Silver Jubilee of Saving Lives
Since 2010 Centurion has been dedicated to community health and has partnered with NGO Central Red Cross Bank, Cuttack in donating blood. We celebrated the silver jubilee of its blood donation drive on the 30th of September, 2023, in a remarkable display of compassion, commitment, and community spirit. This institution has been a beacon of hope, bringing together students, faculty, and the local community to save lives through voluntary blood donations. Each blood drive approximately150 students and staff volunteer to donate blood.
- The Central Red Cross Blood Bank, Cuttack, and the Odisha Mo Parivar-Jiban Bindu teams were instrumental in the successful execution of the blood drive, showcasing the impact of collaboration in serving the greater good.

Research Centre “Governance and Sustainable Societies”
The Governance and Sustainable Societies and research center established in 2018 focuses on social impact research, sustainable livelihoods, natural resource management, equity and empowerment, development policy research, Farmers Producers Organization (FPO) development projects, and educational policies. The research center closely collaborates with various non-governmental organizations (NGOs) like BREDS, SACAL, Harsha Trust, Sabuja Biplab, and Swabhiman.

- Empowering Odisha’s Agriculture Landscape Sustainably with APICOL
In a significant stride towards bolstering Odisha’s agricultural sector, Centurion has proudly announced a new collaboration in 2023 with its long-term partnership APICOL (Agricultural Promotion and Investment Corporation of Odisha Limited), a Government of Odisha undertaking under the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment. This collaboration not only aims to provide valuable assistance to agricultural enterprises in the state of Odisha but also aligns closely with the SDGs. At the heart of this partnership lies the commitment to nurturing the next generation of agri-entrepreneurs. Under the umbrella of the Agri Entrepreneurship Promotion Scheme (AEPS) of APICOL, Centurion will play a pivotal role in training individuals from 12 districts in Odisha. The training programs will encompass various job roles crucial to the agricultural sector, including Nursery Management, Fishery, Goatery, and Poultry management, and produce education resources and training manuals.
