Disability Access Schemes
Centurion University goes beyond providing physical access and disability support services by offering targeted disability access schemes that empower individuals with disabilities. These schemes are designed to address the unique challenges faced by people with disabilities and provide them with the tools and resources necessary for long-term success.
- Mentoring Programs: The University has developed mentoring programs specifically for individuals with disabilities, pairing them with experienced mentors who guide them on academic, career, and personal development. Mentors help students navigate university life, offering advice on managing coursework, building self-confidence, and developing leadership skills.

These programs focus on areas such as information technology, entrepreneurship, and other sectors that provide meaningful career opportunities.

The university complies with the Government of India’s Reservation Laws, reserving a specific percentage of seats for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes. As the University is located across regional and rural areas of India, the target setting is a critical step toward promoting inclusivity and socioeconomic diversity in higher education

These collaborations provide the university with valuable insights into best practices for disability inclusion and ensure that its policies remain relevant and effective.
A significant milestone was achieved in 2024 with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Centurion University and the Joint Regional Institute for Skill Development, Rehabilitation, and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (CRCSE). The collaboration is set to enhance capacity development and promote the welfare of persons with disabilities through joint research, innovative approaches, and community-focused initiatives. The agreement outlines a collaborative framework for joint research and publication efforts, focusing on the development of alternative methods for artificial organ transplantation. Additionally, the partnership aims to produce low-cost prosthetics and orthotics, providing accessible solutions for those in need. The institutes also plan to conduct group health awareness programs, further contributing to public health and disability empowerment. This MoU marks the beginning of a new chapter in the history of Centurion University, as both institutions work together to make significant strides in the field of disability rehabilitation and empowerment.
Through these targeted access schemes, Centurion University empowers individuals with disabilities to overcome challenges, build self-reliance, and contribute meaningfully to society. By providing mentoring, vocational training, and financial assistance, the university ensures that individuals with disabilities have the resources they need to succeed both during their time at university and beyond.
